Distress behaviour can be rattling for all those involved — the person experiencing the meltdown, the person trying to attune to the needs of the distressed, and those who are around and may observe it.

This workshop is all about utilising what we know about why meltdowns happen to be able to find the need behind it, attune to it, and meet the person’s needs. It’s what we all deserve in our most vulnerable moments — to be met with dignity and self-compassion.

This workshop includes access to a workbook with practical activities and strategies. The goal is to equip you with an essential resource to keep on hand, used over and over again as a guide. It centres the question “How do we meet this person’s needs?” — which helps navigate through distress behaviours using a neuroaffirming and empowering approach.

Thank you for being here and being part of a wave of those who look to meet the emotional needs of our most vulnerable, so we can either start to heal from trauma or better yet, not experience it at all.
